The best thing to do for ourselves to get our mind refreshed is to head on a short trip. We keep on thinking about some less crowded destination or our plans just don’t get worked out. So, here is a list of such incredible weekend getaways from Delhi; hailing from quaint towns to gorgeous hill stations:

Corbett National Park

Jim Corbett National Park is situated in Nainital, Uttarakhand and is renowned for being Asia’s first National Park. This striking park is set up amidst the grasslands, hills, lakes and streams. It is popular as the abode of the Royal Bengal tigers. One can go for a jungle safari to explore the rich species of wildlife  and elephant ride. Other adventurous activities to enjoy are river rafting and get to explore the  Corbett Museum where there are all the fascinating things kept. Corbett Falls is also an amazing spot to see in the park and there’s also a temple.


A lively, vibrant town in Rajasthan, it is counted amongst the most significant spiritual destinations. An abode of the only existing Lord Brahma temple and Camel Fair is hosted every year. An amazing place to see in Pushkar is Pushkar Lake, Apteshwar Temple, and Savitri Temple. We can explore the city’s striking landscape and attend the evening aarti at the ghats. It’s the easiest way to reach the city through Ajmer away from Delhi.

A famous tourist spot known for its historical significance is just 2 hours and 30 minutes away from the national capital region of Delhi. We can learn about the rich historical past of India and it is a significant part of the famous Golden Triangle Circuit.
